How to Apply

The application process is simple, just have to do it carefully. Follow these steps:

  • Visit the official NHPC website and find the application link in the Careers or Recruitment section when it goes live.
  • Before applying, read the official detailed notification. It contains all the eligibility and important instructions. Do not ignore it, it will be your main guide for a smooth application.

Selection Process

After completing the online registration, eligible candidates will be called for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Written Test, depending on the post. Keep in mind the qualifying marks:

  • General/OBC/Gen-EWS: 40%
  • SC/ST/PwBD: 35%

If you clear the test, the next step will be document verification and biometric authentication, conducted at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad. If you clear all these successfully, you will have the provisional offer letter in your hand.

Exam Pattern

  • Part I: 40 MCQs (1 mark each) + 10 descriptive questions (10 marks each)
  • Part II: 30 MCQs on General Awareness
  • Part III: 30 MCQs on Reasoning

Marking Scheme

  • Correct Answer: +1 mark
  • Incorrect Answer: -0.25 marks
  • Unanswered Question: No marks deducted

Salary Details
