Awaiting NEET PG 2025 Results

The wait for NEET PG Result 2025 is now about to end. For thousands of medical aspirants who were waiting for this exam, the time for the result has now come. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted NEET PG 2025 at the beginning of this month and now preparations are on to announce the result.

How to Check Your NEET PG 2025 Result

As soon as the result is out, you will have to check it on the official website natboard.edu.in. This will be the most correct and direct source for your results.

Scale of NEET PG 2025

This year the NEET exam was conducted on a very large scale.

  • More than 2,42,000 candidates had given the exam.
  • Official sources have confirmed that the entire test was conducted smoothly in a single computer-based shift.
  • The exam included 1,052 test centres in 301 cities. This clearly shows how big and important the exam is.

Understanding NEET PG Cut Off Percentiles

Just getting a good score is not enough to clear NEET PG, you have to meet the minimum cut off percentile according to your category. These cut off marks are very important and will be announced along with the result. NBEMS had already mentioned the required percentiles in the official information bulletin:

  • General / EWS: 50th percentile
  • SC / ST / OBC (PwD included): 40th percentile
  • UR PwD (Unreserved Persons with Disabilities): 45th percentile

Percentile in simple language indicates your position in comparison to other candidates. For example, if you are in the 50th percentile, it means you have scored better than 50% of the people who sat in the exam.

Downloading Your NEET PG Scorecard

After the result, there is one important task that you should not miss, downloading your NEET PG scorecard.

  • The scorecard will be available on the official NBEMS website.
  • The option to download it will be available for almost 6 months after the result is declared.
  • The smart thing would be to immediately download and save multiple copies as soon as they are available – one digital and some print outs.
  • This will be useful at every step of the counselling and admission process.

No ReEvaluation or Rechecking

NBEMS has made it clear that there will be no option of re-evaluation, rechecking or retotalling. Whatever result is declared will be considered as final. So the best thing would be to accept the outcome and focus on the next steps.

NBEMS Exam Integrity Guidelines

NBEMS had issued a strong warning after the exam so that the integrity of the exam could be protected. They sent this message through their WhatsApp channel, with a clear reminder that candidates cannot share the exam content or questions in any form. The Board clearly stated:

NBEMS strictly prohibits any candidate from reproducing, transmitting or publishing exam content – whether in full or in part, whether verbally, in writing, electronically or by any mechanical means. This is not permitted for any purpose.

They also emphasized that NEET PG is a proprietary exam conducted by NBEMS and all exam content is confidential and their proprietary property. The message was even more clear: No exam material can be shared with any friend, acquaintance or third party, whether online or through social media.

This is not just a friendly request. NBEMS has made it clear that if any candidate breaks this rule, then penal action can be taken against him and his candidature can also be cancelled. This is a serious matter which every aspirant should respect seriously.
